“The Clown and the Candyman” documentary can be accessed on Discovery-Plus, a new streaming service which launched earlier this month. You have to subscribe to the service ($4.99 a month) to access the content, but there is a 7-day free trial. The series will air on Investigation Discovery some time after early March. Two more episodes remain in the podcast series.

The media and author Marney Keenan continue to try to bring attention to the OCCK crimes because the vacuum created by the Michigan State Police and Oakland County law enforcement has squelched inquiry and integrity. That’s what happens when government is not transparent.
I live in Huntington Woods and have been looking for this event but haven’t been able to find anything referencing it on any of the library events pages. Maybe Marney Keenan should get in touch with the library to make sure people are aware of the event.

bita, this meetings are online via Zoom and you don’t have to pay to download Zoom on your computer or phone.
Listening to the “Clown and Candyman” podcast you recommended, part 1. It says Bobby Moore owned a large house in Cass Corridor and “up the road on woodward” rented a space above a movie theatre where he created child porn. Do you know where this theatre is/was? Less importantly, but do you know where his house was/is located? Do you know anything about activities in business establishments or related property right around 6 mile and woodward, around the time of the Oakland County killings or at any other time? I have a small bit of more specifics. Thanks, and endless blessings to you and your family.

Little background…
That neighborhood in Detroit has been hit hard by neglect. Just a couple blocks east of Woodward, is John R. Road. John R. Road and the immediate blocks to the east and west between 8 Mile and 6 Mile have kind of become the unofficial red light district for Detroit. Lots of drug and prostitution, blight, etc. very sad place.
Back in the 70s in that are along 6 Mile and John R./Woodward, were quite a few bars/clubs, which happened to be the area of the Gas Station Bar which happened to be the bar, where Danto’s letter writer, Allen told Danto to meet him at.
I believe (somebody correct me if I’m wrong) one of the Jewish Bar owners from the Cass Corridor, that was talked about here a couple weeks ago, also owned a bar on the 6 Mile and Woodward area that m used to be a popular lounge in the 50s/60s, but by the 70s, had become a seedy dive bar.
Today, along 6 Mile are a few bars, LBGQT bars/clubs etc. and a lot of the drugs/prostitution as I mentioned.
Back in the 70s the area started to go downhill…and of course, with the help of Moore and his buddies. I believe a couple other suspects had houses/apartments in that neighborhood at that time, as well. Lots of Cass people spent time there.
