You know how someone with power and money gets away with shit or makes it go away? It requires someone in the legal system (preferably someone in the prosecutorial chain, or even a judge) to allow themselves to be manipulated. To be weak. To overlook what investigators have discovered and documented. To be corrupt.
That’s how these cowards can turn a blind eye to sex crimes against children. That’s how the predator clients in underage rape operations like these are never named or charged. It’s why their names are redacted in case files. It’s why they never even have to hire a fucking attorney. It’s why they never learn their lesson–because they don’t have to.
