An arrest was announced today in the murders of four University of Idaho students.
The suspect was in a PhD program in criminology at The University of Washington State’s Pullman campus, just 15 minutes from where the bodies were found in the students’ shared house last month.
He was conducting an online study of decision-making by criminals. Now it seems he will be able to conduct an up-close and intense study of death penalty jurisprudence in Idaho. It might take a little longer than his PhD dissertation, but he’ll get there.
Take a listen to these two podcast episodes of Mind Over Murder about citizen sleuths and tips in the Colonial Parkway murders cold case. The podcasters give background enough at the beginning of each episode. Their points are interesting and valid and certainly hit home for me.
Child rapist, sentenced to life in prison in 2007 for a small fraction of the likely hundreds if not thousands of child rapes he committed, was moved in October of 2021 to Oaks Correctional Facility in Manistee, Michigan.
This 81-year-old monster was investigated in the OCCK case. His crimes against boys were vicious and violent. I’m sure Lamborgine is a model prisoner for Warden Michael Burgess, since he is dealing with men his own size instead of helpless children. Talk about a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
Thanks to a reader for this information on Lamborgine and Gunnels. I have no doubt Gunnels knew Lamborgine and had participated in or witnessed the dropping off and picking up of boys at Lamborgine’s residence. They are both evil.
