  1. I find it interesting that an ad is placed right next to a page in the story that reads “Let’s keep Scouting stronger than ever”. And we learned so much more in the next 30 years about the Boy Scout leaders, including in Oakland County. I know hindsight is 20/20.

    Yet MSP still decided to re-open this case around 2006 , ignore any hindsight information, ignore any lessons learned in the first investigation, and ignore any new information or tips. Certainly would not look at information they needed to keep hidden. Probably also the reason they periodically shut down any tip lines. In fear of “one bad day” where too much work would be generated.
