Southfield PD Final, contains information suggesting Mark Stebbins may have been previously sexually assaulted (August of 1975?) . This information suggests, the assailants would have been adolescents. The majority of sex crimes against pre-pubescent boys are committed by adolescent males, stats tell us.
IF Mark himself was the origin of this info, it is also possible that he may have been involved in a situation with an older person – perhaps adult – that “got out of hand”, unexpected by him, and being unable to confess that circumstance to family, concocted assault by older boys.
I’ve said before, that I suspected Mark might have been previously victimized and, perhaps, the sketch was originally intended to enable a friend of his abuser to identify him when he was walking home someday.
