A goon squad of sheriff’s deputies. I know there are versions of this goon squad, perhaps without the obvious physical brutality, in hundreds of sheriff departments across the country. They answer to no one and even the prosecutors they allegedly work with have to play ball. Right, Oakland County?
Thank god for this kind of reporting. I’m sure no newspaper in or around Rankin County would touch it, but now the entire world can see what this POS sheriff’s department is.

I’ll just bet he was. Stunned/tased; it’s all the same to him.
Look up Juan David Ortiz. He was a cop in Texas who was also a serial killer. He got life, but prosecutor did not push for the death penalty. He was profiled on Nancy Grace last night.
These guys just look mean.
