I will take another look today. In the past year or so, he is MIA on the MDOC site. Back in the day, he was a real risk to not only the Busch family, but the Oakland County prosecutor. He was a link between Busch and Greg Greene. And he knew Busch was sexually assaulting his nephews. When charges were filed on his behalf after he was victimized by Busch, he received a threatening phone call (“don’t testify”). Fast forward decades and there is a partial mtDNA match to a hair found on Kristine’s jacket. Everyone loves the partial mtDNA hit with hair found in Sloan’s car but this match with Gunnels? Nobody’s going there. I think he helped dump Kristine’s body. I think he’s a fucking liar, drug-addled or not. He knows he could get left holding the bag for these crimes, minimal participation or not. Maybe there is some innocent explanation for how he gets walked off MDOC. I’d love to hear it.

I remember your 12-29-2022 post indicating he was back in custody. Yet they never did update his image. Today I ran across the link below. Perhaps this explains how he was back in custody back in 2022, and now is released again. Arrested in Van Buren County 5/5/2022 for Larceny less than $200.
