Here’s a news story about a pedophile/child sexual abuse material (CSAM) user that caught my eye because of the 14-year prison sentence. I read on and of course immediately realized that this POS was back after having been coddled at his first (known) rodeo in 2016. He should have gotten 14 years the first time.
This “man” was sentenced to 14 whole months in prison in 2016 after his arrest for three counts of sexual exploitation of a child while a physical education teacher at an elementary school. Part of that sentence included eight years of “sex offender intensive supervised probation,” for which the taxpayers of Colorado should receive a refund. Spend some money educating prosecutors and judges about the recidivism of pedophiles and CSAM users so they quit making defense attorneys’ lives easier and endangering children with their “deals.”
This time around, a police search of the 52-year-old ex-con’s residence turned up “three sexual child dolls,” 1,200 images and 10 videos containing CSAM. Unbelievably, prosecutors dismissed eight counts of child exploitation and the “habitual offender” sentence enhancer, even while spouting off about “a greater concern here for future offenses.”
Don’t worry. You’ll get another chance to enhance the next sentence, some time after 2038. At age 66, he still won’t totally qualify for the “pity the old man” argument at his next sentencing. Unless he somehow finds a way to become a priest during his incarceration.
