Hello Cathy, Quick question for you, Has anyone ever filed a FOIA request for the affidavit and transcripts of Bob Moore’s criminal cases? I keep hitting dead ends whenever I try to research him and his cases
I asked this before on another one of your posts but someone else answered the question they mentioned that he died in the 90s and was only charged and not convicted. However the mugshot of his thsts used in documentaries and that’s all over the web is from 1978. I can’t find anything on this guy. Also do you know the address of this bike shop he owned?
If I remember correctly, Moore had one bike shop on Trumbull Street near Grand River. He may then have moved out of this location to the Cass Corridor, where I believe it was located next to the Old Miami Bar. He also ran a bike shop out of his house which I believe was 458 Henry Street. Hope that is helpful.
Thanks, G-Man. Moore’s address(es) might be in the case notes from the Lawson/Lamborgine investigation that are posted on my blog. I never filed a FOIA request on Moore, nor have I read anywhere an explanation of the charges resulting in that mug shot.
That is exactly where I remember reading this information. Hopefully this anonymous reader will file a FOIA.
I will also add for this reader that the only case I found was 1992-9206022001-FY in Wayne County 36th District Court.

Outrageous–Might all his endorsements, and additional benefits be directed to the 12 year old, whose life will need as much support as possible? (I know I live in an alternate universe, but it would be a small drop in the ocean)
Would that this could happen! Not a single mention of his victim in his remarks–just a dark period when he was 19. He has been “fully reintegrated into the Dutch volleyball community.” Ask any survivor of childhood rape or sexual abuse if they ever feel “reintegrated,” Mr. Volleyball. He is so grateful for his “second chance” from family and friends–what about the child he victimized?
I was reminded of Stanford swimmer and convicted rapist Brock Allen Turner and his “second chance” courtesy of a frat boy judge. Sickening.
