He apparently had a number of aliases, so the potential for other victims is real. A truly diabolical and disturbing case!
I agree that there is so much potential for other victims. He should be investigated deeper. Coincidentally his Royal Oak address is right in the middle of past OCCK events, while his mailing address is a Warren, Michigan post office. So 50 years later, lets see if his local LE gets involved in any way.

If you read the original Canadian news reports, you get a different story. He was a friend of the family. No online dating. And he was supposed to be returned to Canada to face charges.

Then the recent articles indicate he will not be returned to Canada. And he is not facing as many charges in the USA. The charges laid by Windsor police include:
Aggravated sexual assault.
Sexual interference.
Break and enter.
Two counts of assault.
Choking.
Wearing a face mask.
Carrying a prohibited weapon.
Bodily assault causing harm.
U.S authorities have laid a charge of attempted kidnapping of a minor.

The posted article indicates he faces charges of aggravated assault and sexual interference with a person under 16 years of age in Windsor, according to a release from the Windsor Police Service. This also misstates the crime. CSC vs. Sexual interference. Age 4 vs. Under age 16. Sounds just like what went down in Michigan in 1977.
