France stopped the death penalty in 1977. The last 3 men executed there were not murderers. They were sex offenders. Prior to 1974 the USA would frequently execute sex offenders. Seems it could be useful in some of these situations.
So the prosecutors erased 5 of the 10 videos he was initially charged with -why? So they didn’t have to spend more time on the case? So sick of these reduced charges and low bails.
