The most recent release of Epstein/Maxwell documents reveals that Epstein met his first known victim, a 13-year-old girl in the 1990s, at the summer camp at Interlochen in Northern Michigan.

The Interlochen Arts Camp is approximately 50 miles south of N. Fox Island, the original pedophile island created by Frank Shelden. Ironic or predictable? Shelden fled the country more or less the summer of 1976 to evade prosecution for sex crimes against an 8-year-old boy. A little over a decade later, Epstein would reinvent the island playbook for his own (and Maxwell’s) twisted purposes.

“Why doesn’t someone dig up and review the Charlevoix airport flight records, and plane identification #’s / owners of the planes for said years that went from Charlevoix airport to N. Fox Island when Francis was running it to identify those who went there?”

I think Old Money Pedo Frank Shelden took charters out of Leland and flew out of Leelanau County too. I have a whole unorganized file from the late 60s to about 1974 of FDS’s time in Leland and who he was staying with and if he flew or took a boat. And who he traveled with.
It just recently occurred to me that all these things I’ve found are Leland, not Charlevoix.
The two towns are close but having taken the ferry to South Manitou a few times and spent time in N Michigan, it’s a drag of a drive to go from Leland to Charlevoix when there’s charter boats in Leland.
There are also airstrips in Leelanau and at Sugar Loaf which was a ski resort back then and is since closed down.

I think I’m #3 on the list of people obsessed with FDS. I have no idea what my goal is in all of this but, he’s my Roman Empire. If that makes no sense, it’s ok. Men apparently think about the Roman Empire all the time. I’m not a man so, FDS is my RE.
If you had a chance to review the “Gerald Richards Flowchart” comments, item M discuses Barry Wood. He is the contractor from Charlevoix who “built” North Fox Island for Frank.
Barry’s brother, Raymond Vern Wood (also from Charlevoix), was a pilot, a founding member of the Charlevoix Flying Club, and flight instructor at Charlevoix Airport starting in 1964.
