See at about 48:19 mark to end re: OCCK

For more on JoAnn’s case, listen to the No One Knows podcast which does a better job of taking the thing head on.  Scott Burnstein, you should go on Liv’s podcast and compare notes.  Right?

Regarding the end of the YouTube video, is someone finally believing that the OCCK case is literally the most corrupt serial killer investigation in history?  Did someone finally believe what is meticulously set forth in Guarded by Jackals?  Bring it.

That corruption fucked over four families and Oakland County communities for fifty years.  I don’t know how the still-living monsters from the 1976-1977 OCP office and those who rubbed elbows with them and know or suspect have been able to live with themselves.  How did/do you look at your children and grandchildren without dying inside?

  1. And the poison fouled up thousands of families . We could not play or go outside. Fathers were beat up for picking up their children from school. I could have been Tim or Mark.

    1. And because those depraved POS, Patterson and Thompson, couldn’t risk any threads being pulled in other sex crimes against children in Oakland County, hundreds of CSC cases in that county were ignored. Pedophile rings flourished in Oakland County because of these two men and Oakland County residents who bought their “law and order” bullshit. Oakland County was never any better than Wayne County–it was no doubt worse. You just got better schools and better shopping..

  2. Yep, how does Dicky Thompson still live with himself? Amazes me some of the players are still around and sleep at night. Not a club anyone wants to be in.

    1. Both of them knew they would not only lose their law license, they would wind up in prison for what they did. That is some big motivation to compartmentalize and lie to yourself and others. Or drink very heavily in the dead man’s case. I guess it wasn’t a big deal. Michigan doesn’t “do” public corruption cases.

  3. The entire interview was great. Especially if you have followed both the Joann Matouk-Romain and the David Widlak murders. Both initially ruled a suicide, both had a second autopsy initiated by the family. Both had conflicting autopsy results.

The Widlak death was ruled a suicide by Macomb County Medical Examiner Daniel Spitz. His father did the autopsy on Timothy King, and also later worked in Macomb County. It was changed to a murder only because the family got the Oakland County Medical Examiner to do a second autopsy. It was determined Widlak had a bullet in the back of his head. That’s a rather large error in my opinion.

I also found the comments regarding the OCCK case extremely important, and this information is being provided from an entirely different set of eyes and different perspectives.

If anyone only listened to the OCCK related information from the 48:19 mark to the end, I would also recommend listening to the OCCK comments from the 39:39 mark to about the 42:30 mark.
