A 43-year-old doctor was arrested in Ann Arbor and has been charged with possession of child sexual abuse material, including three counts of aggravated possession, one count of possession, and two counts of using a computer to commit a crime.

There are assurances that Dr. Sack’s arrest has no connection to his employment. Except that every parent I have ever met would never consider letting a doctor who views child sexual assault material on his computer anywhere near their child. Or their own body for that matter.
Consider the fact that these people risk their entire lives–career, freedom, reputation–by engaging in such activity. And they do it anyway. That is the reddest of red flags that a judge should consider at sentencing.

OK, If this is Ann Arbor, Michigan , the judge is likely C Cedric Simpson. He rules the A and E show Court TV. He seems like a decent man and a fair judge. I doubt he will give this dangerous man probation.

This case is currently in the 15th District Court in Ann Arbor. Simpson is in the 14A District Court, which serves all of Washtenaw County except Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti Township.
