Just curious…when and where did you see the “business documents” with Chris Busch’ name on them? Or the list of BPCM sponsors with his name on it? Or the Francis Shelden mailing list with his name and info listed? Or the Francis Shelden CSAM customer ledger with his name and info listed?

I have never seen the documents you list, nor have I claimed to have. Mention is made of documentation linking Chris Busch and Frank Shelden’s operation in The Snow Killings. So you could ask Marney Keenan or Cory Williams. Nothing of this nature was ever shared with me.
If I understand what I’m reading here correctly there was no documented basis found between Busch and Fox Island. Or better worded yet there was NEVER any document revealed in any source. Although it was heavily broadcast as a conclusion from Marney, Cory, Reuben, the works. Or at the very least hinted upon.
But still here today we stand with undeniable documented proof that a polygrapher claims that John Hastings knew Busch and was strongly suggested that he was involved with the OCCK murders someway but still none of these key people ever cared touch this in fact there was obvious avoidance.
What gives here? I think I know the answer why. Because it is associated with Helen Dagner all bets are off. There really is no other explanation. A further point why this case will never go anywhere.

We go back further than this blog though. I was with you through the Topix years, all the Dagner controversies, so many nutty obsessives…I was researching Frank Torey in Amsterdam, you were looking into Francis Shelden in Michigan. There was a moment of revelation when we realized that we were talking about the same person.
Thank you for your honest answer, Cathy. You could not have seen those documents, at least not legit copies , because they don’t exist. But claims that one or another had existed, are all over the internet. Including claims by Reuben Appelman and even by Corey Williams (quoted by Marney), to my disappointment. And for someone to know that such a doc HAD existed… either they saw it themselves or they know someone who claimed that they did. I’m trying to locate the “patient zero”. Very glad it’s not you.
It’s not. And I have also been very consistently up front that I am no expert on Frank Shelden or any of his associates or clients. I was shocked in 2004 when I read the news articles my mother had saved when I realized N. Fox was in the background of Michigan crime history leading up to these child killings. Then I was appalled when I read Marilyn Wright’s reporting from Traverse City.
I try to never claim expertise in anything other than how my family has been treated by investigators and prosecutors. Many of my readers are more well-versed in the FOIA and other documents in this case than I am. You included, perhaps. I obviously have strong opinions and feelings about many parts of this case, the investigation, and the people involved, but I try not to constantly tell people what to think or what something means. It’s like politics, anyway–the people who have their suspect or theory in this case can’t be argued with, anyway. I try to never claim another’s work as my own. If I fail to attribute, I circle back.
Thanks for the update. I too would like to find “patient zero”, eliminate false information, and see the actual documents.
