Rape culture is still on steroids across the world.

Don’t worry boys, “None of you need go to prison today.” Meanwhile, their victims will be imprisoned by this experience indefinitely.

The knife-wielding rapists, who were aged between 13 and 14 at the time of their offenses, physically overpowered and sexually assaulted girls, who were aged 14 and 15, in separate incidents two months apart.  They filmed the attacks and shared them online.

In more local news, a former U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officer was sentenced in federal court last week on charges of distribution of child sexual abuse material.

This was a uniformed customs inspector at the Ambassador Bridge who worked out of the Detroit office.  As a reader pointed out, this defendant sounds just like Robert “Big Bob” Schuler who was named by Faye Goley as a pedophile friend of Richard Lawson.  Wonder what this inspector was doing at ages 13 and 14.  Clearly not as sympathetic a defendant as those poor boys in the UK.

    1. I understand the sentiment, but our legal system is simply too flawed and often too corrupt to have execution be the final, irreversible word.
