For about 10 days, the country of Greece shows up in the #3 position on my blog for views, behind the U.S. and Canada.  Hundreds of views.  I realize someone could be using a VPN and routing through Greece to hide an IP address.  But it’s an unusual choice and pattern.

John Hastings is still alive.  Vince Gunnels is still alive.  If this investigation is still alive beyond anniversary news stories or making a documentary, both of these men and their family members should be interviewed again.   Chat them up about the OCCK crimes and about any role in the child rape and CSAM rings operating just under the radar in Michigan during that era.

Cold cases can be successfully solved when investigators circle back to people who are suspected of withholding information or lying.   I’d be getting fucked up on a daily basis if I lured kids to their death, let alone rape, but that’s no reason not to talk to these people.  “My brain is fried.”  So what.  You are still worthy of another chat.

The next time you are on YouTube, punch in the name of just about any freak associated with the OCCK or N. Fox Island crimes and you may be surprised at the number of pieces and the level of inquiry and evaluation.  The outside world recognizes how fucked up these crimes and the investigations that followed really are.

If you live in Oakland County, ask officials to give an honest update about the status of this case.  It’s been 50 years.  Boulder PD now gives a yearly update on the JonBenet Ramsey murder investigation.  It’s better than nothing.  Austin PD Detective Dan Jackson was forthcoming with the families and the public about the status of the investigation into the cold case murder of four young teen girls in The Yogurt Shop Murders both before and after the solve.

Update.  Be transparent or answer once and for all for withholding and game playing.  Answer questions from the press.  No more withholding because it’s going to derail the investigation.  Get real.
