Honestly, I couldn’t get passed the first two links because of disgust.
Comments like, “They watched him like a hawk.” No other complaints came about at the time, so they figured he was “cured of his disease”. Really?
And deserving second chances or being able to put the past behind are not options for the lives of the victims they abused and ruined.
Second, third, and more chances to afflict more children is more like it.
Imesch should be in jail for child endangerment.
He’s in Hell. “Even death doesn’t diminish former bishop’s arrogant legacy.” https://www.snapnetwork.org/even_death_doesn_t_diminish_former_bishop_s_arrogant_legacy?recruiter_id=342 (January 2016).
Catholics really walk the talk, don’t they? https://www.clickondetroit.com/news/local/2020/05/12/lawsuit-claims-catholic-diocese-of-saginaw-retaliated-after-man-reported-sexual-assault-of-son/
Wonder how many of these priests hung out with Lamborgine in Ohio…
I met this priest when my dad was at Good Samaritan in Downers Grove but I don’t remember what year it was…he was visiting Catholic patients and had seen my dad a couple days in a row. He stopped by when my dad was being released and my dad introduced me to him. I met him briefly in the hallway and the following year learned of the charges but when I contacted the hospital about him freely roaming the hospital when I had seen him with children easily accessible they told me he was no longer “serving” there.
Good for you for speaking up, Nade. Lay people have to keep an eye on these men because the church certainly did not.
