Guess he did throw all the boys out over Lake Michigan.
Bob Kenney
This is likely the boy that killed himself after receiving the letter in Oct. 1976 from Shelden that he was leaving the country. One other boy was seen driving Shelden’s abandoned car in Charlevoix.
In the comment section of Sad’s YouTube posts, he posted Shelden’s deposition in the Virgin Island Trust fund case.
In Appendix no. 1, Article II, Section 2.3 and 2.4 it states:
“establish education trust for Joseph William Moore and BARRY DEL WOOD of Charlevoix, Michigan”.
These have to be the 2 boys mentioned at the top. It’s one or the other that killed himself.
This trust was formed in Sept., 1976. The newspaper article is from 1967 and the boy was 10.
That would have made Del Wood 18-19 years old in Nov., 1976 at this time.
It was reported that the boy from Charlevoix who committed suicide was 18
Very sad to read this newspaper clipping knowing what happened to this boy.
Shelden must have started sexually assaulting him on this trip and over the next 9 years.
You can find the online obituary for Del Wood’s father (Barry) from 2020. It appears Del was still alive as of last year.
Could Del Wood be interviewed ? ( if still Alice then he would only be 64 – correct?
Absolutely infuriating and appalling. AND A DEFINITE LINK TO CHICAGO. Although I already believed their network spanned the country and even globe.
IF this is his mother, it looks like Joe Moore is still alive as well.

According to Marney Keenan’s book, The Snow Killings (page 227) Joe Moore took his life by putting a gun in his mouth after hearing of Francis Shelden’s arrest. His death is listed as 1 December 1976.
