I watched it last night and was impressed not only by the law enforcement response, but by their cooperative interactions with the parents over the years. But what really struck me was the ‘citizen sleuth’ who put hours into old-fashioned library research to look for similar abduction attempts and sexual assaults on boys in nearby communities. She established the pattern that ultimately identified the perpetrator in the Wetterling case.
