Low morale at a “once elite” agency

Low morale, lack of accountability, recruitment problems at the Michigan State Police:

I have never seen any evidence of this agency being elite. Yeah, I get the low morale. Thinking about the MSP gives me “low morale.”

I still maintain that no one was happier to see the MSP take over the OCCK case than L. Brooks Patterson and Richard Thompson. Place is a clusterfuck.

  1. The Pontiac, Michigan police department used to be elite. They went out of business about 15 years ago. Now the Oakland County Sheriff’s Dept. runs the show.

    1. You mean like in 1979 when a one man grand jury was established to investigate alleged wrongdoing in the Oakland County Prosecutor’s office and the Pontiac Police Department? See the January 9, 1980 Royal Oak Tribune for details.

“Two high-ranking officers of the Pontiac Police Department including Chief William Hanger and Lt. Orville Johnson were indicted in July for alleged perjury. Hanger as also indicted for alleged obstruction of justice”

The apple does not fall far from the tree regarding Hanger’s son if you have followed the Joann Matouk “suicide”.
