At about the 18:51 mark in the YouTube video about the OCCK crimes by the Ruin Road channel, there is a clip of a news interview of an unidentified citizen about Mark Stebbins when and where his body was found. Does anybody know who he is?

I screen shotted the face (is that even a term?) and put it through People Search Faces with no luck. I’m sure it was too long ago. However, there was a suggestion to use facial recognition on some Ancestry sites. I do not participate in any of those but if someone here does, stop the video, take a screen shot and give it a try. It may produce a hit.

I was curious about him long ago. I originally thought it was Lester Archie Stebbins (Mark’s biological father). Then I found out that it was Ruth Stebbins boyfriend at the time. What he says in the interview certainly sounds like someone who spent much time with Mark.
I believe his name is Joseph Deragon. Don’t ask me where I found this. I found it long ago, and I was fortunate to have written his name down. If I found it in a FOIA, or a police report, it could have been a misspelled name as well.
He may have lived in Berkley at that time, and this link may be him.

Yes, I saw that as well. It is the page that gave me the middle name Vincent, and the “find a grave” site. I can give ancestry a try, but I do not have full access.
On Ancestry he is on the Callan/Lambiris/Winterhalter family tree. But that is all I can see.

That car with the double hesdlights behind the policeman at 18:23. Whose car is that? Who are the young men behind the man at 19:15?
I think it was Mark’s mom’s boyfriend. I saw some video, somewhere before, (I’ve watched so many, its hard to keep track of them all)where I got that idea.
