How about you get off your asses and pass the Justice for Survivors Act that is stalled in the Michigan House instead of impeaching Dana Nessel during her last year in office? Do something constructive. Why the stall?

Seriously, does anyone have any insight about representatives who are responsible for the stall? Republicans/Democrats? Is the Catholic Church lobbying hard? WTH?

I’m told that the Michigan House chair of the committee on Government Operations, Brian BeGole, District 71, has tabled it. BeGole can be reached via this contact page: https://gophouse.org/member/RepBrianBeGole/posts.
District 71 includes parts of Genesee, Saginaw and Shiawassee counties.
The legislation was was passed by the state senate but BeGole won’t even hold hearings on it. Matt Hall, is the speaker of the house. Apparently, neither will answer any correspondence regarding the survivors legislation. The previous speaker Joe Tate refused to hold a vote late last year as well.
