  1. He apparently was married , had a rap band and “was living well” according to ch 4 news in Detroit.

    1. Ok so went on a bit of a rabbit hole here. The band led by the guy who was killed back in the day was Cold as Life, a famous Detroit hardcore punk band. One of the band members is/was Jeff Gunnels. Curious if any relation to James Vincent Gunnels given the similar lifestyle of crime, incarceration, drugs, and trauma. Jeff gunnels was born in the 70s and bears a passing resemblance to JVG in some photos
