This was just on ch 4 news in Detroit. I believe the Troy MI police dept said that her bed clothes were destroyed per medical examiner’s rules. I never heard of this. I used to work in death care and items with the deceased are either kept or returned to the family.
Joe, daughter here. Troy PD told us her robe went to funeral home (yeah, right). We have records who took the clothing along with other evidence. Where did it all go?
VanHenkel and in my opinion he is involved in the OCCK case as well. Typical police work just like OCCK the evidence is missing it’s just disgusting. Bouchard is useless.
For you non Michiganders, where Gail Webster was killed is right by where Jill Robinson ‘s body was dumped. So sad.
I was living at Somerset apartments when this murder occurred.
I was off to college when Gail’s murder occurred. It is still mindblowing that back in that era, when B’ham and Troy and surrounding towns were these “safe” suburbs. Then in a short time period, many dead kids and teens, Carson McDowell, John McKinney, Gail Webster. Alleged suicides of Richard Hojnacki, Chris Flynn and Chris Busch. Some shit was going down in Oakland County. One or two of the teen girl murders were solved. THAT’S IT.
