After decades of sexual abuse scandals and a bankruptcy designed to thwart civil settlements, Boy Scouts of America rebranded itself to “Scouting America” in early 2025. The rebrand reflected the desire to be inclusive of all youth.

It was inevitable, sadly. Groups, camps, schools, and organizations for kids are victim-rich environments and predators will always be attracted to them
This may have been posted before, but a perusal of the Boy Scout “Perversion Files” will be enlightening.
The files for 1965 – 1985 were made public pursuant to a court order in the Oregon case of Lewis vs. Boy Scouts of America, Case No. 0710-11294. The Oregon Supreme Court upheld the ruling on June 14th, 2012.
