Important to note, when watching part 2 of 2, the oral/video version of Eye of the Chickenhawk, that the document “People of the State of Michigan vs. Josiah Tazelaar” pleadings, which you now have a copy of, documents Josiah Tazelaar “credited for time served 1-21-77 to 5-3-77 on pg. 24. In other words, Josiah Tazelaar was in custody between those dates. Tim King went missing on March 16, 1977 and his body recovered on March 23, 1977.
This means that Josiah Tazelaar could not have been involved in the abduction, abuse or murder of Tim King.
That fact invalidates Richard Lawsons claims in many important ways.
The claim that Kim Tam Ang supposedly told Lawson in Amsterdam that Tazelaar was involved, already ridiculous on the face of it, (how and why would this man living in Amsterdam know anything about Tim’s murder, never explained), becomes a preposterous boast. Kim Tam Ang knew “Tazelaar was involved” but didn’t know that was impossible?
The claim that “#1”, obviously intended to mean Tazelaar as Det. Williams surmised, told Lawson he had seen a film with Tim King in it – impossible. In fact, none of Lawson’s claims about #1-Tazelaar are possible. They are in fact, lies.
Nevertheless, it was necessary and important for Det. Williams to investigate Lawson’s claims, from those made in 1988 to those he made in the 2000s, as fully and faithfully as possible. That is what makes Det. Williams such a remarkable investigator – his determination to investigate every lead to its bitter end. The documentation that he really did this, shows how commendable he is.
Yes I’m very surprised one of the survivors confirmed that grossman is still alive. It surprises as you think given age and being on run would take toll. I’m sure he has to be in rough health though. So do we think they have a pinpointed location on grossman in Europe? FBI and state doing what they always do gatekeeping
