Read this email I received from a reader who knows what Frank Shelden did after he left Michigan and the United States. His new Fox Island was a boys orphanage in India.

I have identified a Catholic priest in India as a lifelong friend of Frank Shelden, who hosted him as a paedophile visiting the orphanage that the priest ran in India, which is how I come into the picture.
The priest died in 2015 and then I found out he was a paedophile years earlier. A major paedophile. And a murderer.
I suspect this priest of having robust involvement on North Fox Island, and I think his DNA should be checked.
As a possible suspect in the Oakland County Child killings. I do note that a strong rumour of a “priest leaked out of the country at the time” was remarked by lower ranked law officers according to one or more bloggers.
I have looked at the photofit likenesses of the OCCK suspect, I have three different drawings,
and I have a lot of varied images of the priest, which of course is meaningless, but there is a striking resemblance all the same. I have made up a compilation image of all the pics togetherI have evidence that the priest had more than one passport, that is he had fake identity, and could easily have been in the USA, while ostensibly still in India.I have a copy of the fake Indian passport dated long after OCCK but if he had a fake then, why would we think he might not have had one earlier?
The priest was ordained at Mary glade seminary, and lived in the vicinity of the OCCK murders throughout 1962 – 1966 but he retained close ties to Detroit, even though he was English.
Significant funds came into the orphanage, from Detroit, and I think Frank Sheldon was sending quite a bit of that money, but again this is hardly relevant, except that to show the ongoing connection to Detroit.
The priest returned on fundraising, ostensibly, because don’t forget he was a missionary who came from the local Detroit Seminary and they were funding him also as I understand.I have photographic evidence of Frank Shelden holding orphan children, in this orphanage in India, years before I came along of course. All of this info of Shelden has been exposed to me within the last 9 months and the criminal matters in India only after the priest died in 2015.
I have identified another international paedophile in close liaison and friendship with Frank, and that is Dr Frits Bernard, and I have photographs of him also at the orphanage in India. Over these men were coming there to have sex with orphan boys, who were too poor and illiterate and isolated, and were trafficked by the priest

The priest is accused of killing a woman, or at the least concealing her body illegally, under a building in the orphanage, and I have a map to this illegal grave but he also buried a Child secretively in the midnight hours, and I believe that was one of his victims who died from abuse.
I also have a map to where that grave is, but getting any action in India is very difficult.
An eyewitness has described how this priest nearly murdered a man in front of his eyes. The diary of the priest which I am now holding makes reference to snuff sex.
The priest is alleged to have been interested in black magic.
There is a great deal about this man that makes me think he is a very ideal suspect in the murder of one or more of the Oakland victims. There might have been more than one killer.
It is very hard to get attention, but I think I have some very troubling information that needs to at least be eliminated.
If the priest was not involved, or if there is not enough evidence, if his DNA is not match, well then fine.But surely every lead should be followed. I believe that the American police should contact Indian Federal police and request a crime scene be declared, to exhume or find other sources of DNA of the priest

While the creep who went to India has a richer, nastier history, the one named Harold Depp, who was personally known to me for years, who came from Detroit and was “active” ten years before the Shelden-related murders, is someone who DIDN’T escape the law. Ma’am, I’m from Port Huron. I lived across the street from St. Joseph’s from 1985-1995 and lived nearby most of my life. I fell into this story from an out-of-state friend who stumbled upon it and knew my connection to Port Huron. Bless you for taking this up. I’m curious if you know of any connection between Frank Sheldon and Christopher Busch and of Busch had any connections to Port Huron in general. Thank you; I really appreciate it. St. Joseph’s gym teacher Gerald Richards was the big Port Huron connection but I’m sure there were others right there in the community. Richards was tipped off that arrests were imminent in a case involving the sexual assault of an 8-year-old boy from Port Huron. Richards (and probably others in law enforcement and/or the prosecutors office) then tipped off Frank Shelden. The file cabinets were cleaned out. Richards got a deal (I think this monster served only two years in prison) for testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee in the summer of 1977 when child pornography federal legislation was being enacted. Apparently part of the deal was that he hand over the “client list.” In the case of N. Fox Island and other child sex and pornography rings around the country, these client lists, file cards, journals always “went missing.” The reason is obvious. There are always men on that list who are powerful, monied “model citizens,” or those in societal positions of trust, who can’t have it ever be revealed what perverse and horrible crimes they like to engage in. It feels like agencies like the FBI and probably the CIA, seem happy to oblige.
The relatively small file the Michigan State Police had on the N. Fox Island/Port Huron crimes was heavily redacted. But it did include the redacted names of a few Michigan “customers” who, when interviewed, said they were only donating money to the boys nature camp on N. Fox Island–they “had no idea” what was going on up there. As I recall one was a bank manager, one was a principal of a school, and one–a single man–was a foster parent of a boy and also worked in child protective services. The information in the file about the sexual abuse, torture and even murder, of children at Richard’s naturopathic doctors office would keep even the most hardened person awake at night for a long time. So yes, Port Huron was a big link in the pedophile/pornographer chain. But there were many of those in Michigan.
I don’t know that Busch had any direct connections to Port Huron. As far as I can tell, police did not spend any serious time trying to link Busch up with Shelden or Richards, or anyone outside what I call the dirtiest of the pedophiles (i.e., don’t wear suits and don’t have a seemingly normal “parallel” life)–Greg Greene, Arch Sloan, Ted Lamborgine, Richard Lawson. Even then, the only solid link was with Greg Greene. But if investigators had truly listened to survivors of the child sex/porn rings in Michigan, they would have learned that Chris Busch was a link in this organization. That he filmed sex acts with and among kids. That kids were dropped off at the Busch cottage at Ess Lake for this purpose. That he had attempted to negotiate the murder of a child on film. The camera was set up in one of the bedrooms. That these animals often placed plastic bags over their victims’ heads as “training.” (Perhaps why the OCCK victims showed no signs of a more forcible suffocation and why victims would not be identifiable on the many films allegedly reviewed by authorities here and abroad). They would have learned that there were “hubs” that predator clients and children were funneled through. And they would have learned a lot more (like what went on at H. Lee’s house), but this did not fit into their confirmation biased approach.
Someone recently asked if anyone had looked at the connection to Shelden’s brother Alger and if he knew what was going on. “No” and “no doubt” would be my answers. Despite the facade of the model citizen, perennial bachelor, Big Brother, board member of Cranbrook boy’s school, charitable provider of a boy’s nature camp, all that shit adds up pretty quickly if you think about it for a nanosecond. Once Shelden fled the country and Marilyn Wright exposed him and N. Fox in her excellent reporting for the Traverse City Record Eagle, anybody who cared to know, knew. And years later, when he died and presumably left his vast wealth to his loving nieces and nephews, they had to know they were receiving blood money and they apparently had no issue with it. I have long suggested that the Busch and Shelden heirs should make major charitable contributions to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Whether it’s Chris Busch, Frank Shelden, the connection between the two, or the client list, no one ever got any real traction. You are correct that the people who were/are in positions of authority are the reason this did not and will not happen. If it ever does, expect to have to wait for the next book or movie to learn about it. People who know and kept/keep their mouths shut are enablers in this continuing destructive saga. But who to go to? The police and prosecutors literally no longer do squat in this case.

I cannot understand why it is generally accepted that Frank Shelden fled the USA, and gave up / ran away from his entire past life, living as a fugitive for the rest of his life, solely on the basis of some child sex abuse matters.
I am not trivialising the crimes. This was a wealthy man of privilege and influence, and those were times long before such things were discussed so openly and in-depth. I have no doubt Frank had the money and the power to at least limit the consequences of his sexual abuses.
My belief is he did not flee from sexual abuse charges. I cannot say, because I do not know anything, but I believe he fled from one or more murders. Who knew what he fled from, but it was so severe that it terminated his life virtually overnight.
It was crime that was impossible to payoff or buy privileged reduced punishment for.
He has not been named as the OCCK and I am not saying he is. But he ran from something a lot more severe (in his mind) than the rape of an eight year old boy, an 11 year old boy, and the North Fox crimes. He ran from what he knew would be uncovered, and I believe he ran from his connection, Direct connection, to murder, or murders.
I just cannot make sense of a multimillionaire, from a respected powerful influential family, abandoning his life over crimes that typically, a man in his position would expect to at least ameliorate, using expensive lawyers, legal loopholes, bribery, political power, etc. Even a 12 month jail term, possibly suspended, or two years, surely is not enough reason to abandon family and friends, and one’s own nation. There was something much more severe that he knew he was implicated in.
Frank did not runaway from what we know about. He ran away from something we don’t yet know that he was connected to. I believe he ran away from murder, and possibly, he ran away from one or more murders done by the group of paedophiles he belonged to.
And I think the priest in India may have been involved in the same network of child sex and snuff sex activities. There may be no DNA that matches but at the least it should be checked. I have witness testimony from 3 sources about bodies buried at the orphanage, illegally and secretively. The priest John Robert Thwaytes is alleged to have murdered one of these, a woman, but I think the other also, a small boy, died as a result of sexual abuses.
Even the allegation of these things should be enough to trigger a search for the graves where I have maps to their burial places … but no action in corrupted India.
Even the allegation that he was involved in murder in India and has direct ties to OCCK vicinity and to Shelden AND IS A PROVEN PAEDOPHILE with sbuff sex obsessions and had a fake passport and has some passing resemblance to the photofit images … THESE ARE REASONS I think that justify a demand for DNA to be cross-checked, even if only to rule out this man John Thwaytes.

One was our welfare case worker. Telling mom if I didn’t go to that school they would cut are assistance. The second was a Priest from Kateri Catholic Church. “We will make you a real boy” The third was the head of Boy Scout Troupe. He wanted to take me on a summer camp with other little boys.
Also- why wasn’t the Federal Govt involved in
this? Were there child pornography laws in place in the 70’s? If so, why weren’t the guys facilitating this evil prosecuted? Busch had a suitcase full of pictures. He paid a fine and was released. So many victims yet to come. It’s just unconscionable.
The local police in these different parts of Michigan knew these guys were distributing child porn. What happened to the list of customers?
I am thinking out loud. It looks like there were so many possible leads to follow the evil. These guys were on the radar of police.
The FBI was involved at numerous points. The MSP file on Fox Island indicates they were forwarding file information to the FBI. Of course they were. The file reflects operations in Tennessee and other states.
In the OCCK case, when police did not take impressions of the bumper marks in the snow banks at Kristine’s drop site, FBI agent Mort Nickel worked with Lt. Jack Kalbfleish (Birmingham PD and on the task force) to have photos of the impressions evaluated for measurements at University of Michigan. These were then taken to car manufacturers to determine the make and model, Pontiac LeMans. This information, along with the findings that there was a trailer hitch on the back bumper that had been pulled to one side from some kind of accident or mishap, was never made public.
When Jack attempted to make contact with SA Nickel when the task force was reactivated in 2005, it was a Sgt. Shultz response–I know nothing.
I remember being interviewed by an FBI agent in our living room while Tim was missing. The FBI was involved in the hypnosis and interview of Doug Wilson, the witness who came forward a few weeks after Tim’s murder after he realized what he the evening of March 16, 1977, at the parking lot behind Hunter Maple Pharmacy was important. He described a young boy talking to an older man and an even older freak sitting in a Pontiac LeMans, with the numbers 222 on the license plate.
And let’s not forget the FBI’s response to a FOIA request for files on Christopher Busch, Frank Shelden and N. Fox Island. When they finally responded, it was with the “records destroyed in a catastrophic flood” at the relevant storage facility.
The FBI agent assigned to this case for the past few years, unlike his predecessor (who retired), struck me as very defensive and unnecessarily combative about strategy. If he is still on the “team,” I hope he has taken the time to read up on recent DNA testing methods and use of ancestry databases.
Bottom line, if you ask me: Some people at the state and federal level made this go away. The people they protected they protected to the extreme detriment of many, many kids who were victimized before, during and after these investigations. Look at Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell and their little bevy of clients. Nothing has changed.

The Pontiac LeMans or GTO has a tow bar and is dented. Police cant or wont track to see who had those vehicles with a 222 in the license plate and had a boat, camper or trailer? The rear bumper being dented makes me think that the dent was caused by “jack knifing” the towed object. Perhaps there still exists photographic evidence from the origional owner of the dent. I know my dad kept pictures of his truck and boat until he died. Just a thought.
That law enforcement would not deal with this information back in the day not only “doesn’t make sense,” it points to a high up deciding this case would go unsolved because 1. “Big” people were involved and would be revealed, 2. I just watched “Children of the Snow”, I am so sorry for all you have endured. This is no different than the Epstein case, same story, different setting. Sweet Jesus! Were you told that this was an ‘expert’ opinion? Were you led to believe, this was based on these two persons having confidential knowledge of “kiddy snuff”, never released to the public? That would be false. They didn’t tell your family, that they knew there was a “film of Timothy king” because they had seen it, or had a copy in their custody? Because that would be a lie. It doesn’t exist, as I’ve tried to reassure you many times over 20 years.
According to NCMEC, there are child sexual abuse images of me as a young teen, from the mid 1970’s, that were published commercially in the “Golden Boys” series. For me, for M.F., for so many others, the nightmarish understanding that those images of us STILL circulate among perverts today and probably always will, that the total number of copies “out there” can only increase – never decrease – over time. If there was ever more than one original copy of a CSA image, this is inevitable…and there’s no way for anyone to stop it, including the producer of it.
There never was an underground kiddy snuff “industry”, but if there had been, this would be true of whatever “products” they produced as well. The fantasy of kiddy snuff, if it existed, being fantastically profitable is debunked by this inevitable reality also. There’s no way to stop their customers from making endless copies of the film/tape/digital file they bought, and the “value” of that product would plummet shortly after their first sale of it. And it would also, inevitably, eventually ‘surface’ in the massive collections of obsessed perverts being seized by law enforcement all the time.

Vince Gunnels–has knowledge because he participated. He knows. Brother of Greg Green told police Greg sent them a letter about his life while he was in prison, but they threw it out when he died. I just bet you did. Charles Busch–the things he said, alluded to and did not say in his interview with law enforcement after his brother’s name surfaced again are very telling. I believe John Hastings has knowledge. And his family has suspicions, if not knowledge as well. Neighbors of Busch who knew “bad things were going on over there,” and kept quiet.
A friend of mine from another part of the country has watched the documentary Children of the Snow and listened to various podcasts about the crimes. She said “my heart breaks a little more every time I learn more.” She asked “How did so many evil people end up in Michigan?” I think when a society, like Oakland County, tolerates or looks the other way, when people like Medical Examiner Robert Sillery manipulate and take and prosecutors do the dodge and weave; when law enforcement cultures allow and cover for people like polygraph examiner Cabot at the MSP, shit festers. This process helps families like the Busches and the Sheldens keep their little family name fantasy and everyone else pays.

Paul said, Green used him to lure other kids to the car, so Green could look them over. And? Then they would drive away, just the two of them? Isn’t something missing, there, like Green pickling up kids he “liked” – and then the three of them, (or four, or five…), Paul included,go somewhere Green can abuse them all in relative peace and safety, eh? I could believe a Gunnel was the second boy seen with Busch at the cabin, and that he was made to abuse Tim. The FOIA documents, including interview transcripts, reflect that one of the nephews was raped by Busch. The other denied it. No charges were ever filed on the nephew’s behalf. The father, John Busch, is alleged to know of the abuse.
Use of the lure? Get the kid close and engaged in conversation so an adult can appear, punch the child in the throat and throw them in the trunk or car. Twenty seconds, max. Gunnels, unlike KB, offers no speculation, no information. Was only with Busch twice—raped both times but never again. I don’t really understand why you think that the snuff film theory or snuff films in general are so inconceivable. There are A LOT of messed up sick fucks out there. Literally anything is possible especially when you have money.
If the Gunnels’ finished their statements, it would have obviously implicated themselves in the abductions and further abuse of children. Which is most likely why the didn’t finish their statements.
Regarding the comments about Sheldon funding the snuff film. i have read that Detective report log in its entirety when it was originally posted. That extensive and tireless work by the Wayne County detective and the King family brought out so many new leads and revealed so many new potential suspects, even pointing to the Child Sex Ring possibility. It practically helped to revive the case when Oakland County LE was completely silent and had done nothing. Richard Lawson was obviously a sick fuck himself, murderer, and only agreed to talk when he was in a bind. I am in NO WAY defending him but his willingness to take the plea deal and give out names, names that had never been heard of before tied to this case, names who eventually FAILED the lie detector tests or flat out even refused to take tests, cannot be ignored. Clearly alluding to their possible knowledge or involvement. Although the case has stalled since, it does not leave out the possibility that these men may one day FINALLY talk and it helped to tighten the circle of suspects involved. And although Lawson was described as an exaggerative person I have absolutely no reason to believe that the snuff film theory is outrageous, whether it was for Tim or for other innocent children. As painful as it is to think about, one thing that this theory isn’t, is outlandish. What would Sheldon be funding? Well, why wouldn’t you have to pay for people to kidnap a child? Why wouldn’t he have to pay for someone or multiple people to “take care of” that child, or hide that child especially if they are trafficked to different locations, when the child’s face is plastered all over the news. People pay to have their spouses, their bosses, their family members killed all the time for various reasons like money. If a hit man or a sex trafficker, or kidnapper is taking the risk, they will absolutely require payment, a big payment. If you’re rich, you can pay people to do whatever you want, and whatever you don’t want to do yourself. And especially in a time when information was not so readily available at a click of a button like it is today. Why wouldn’t a sick fuck, who gets off on the unthinkable, want to have a film like that at their disposal to replay over and over whenever they wanted. Serial killers will visit the bodies of their victims just to relive that killing high or get sexual gratification. Some even keep momentos of their victims, jewelry, bones, bodies, etc. People get off on sickening things, things that most people can’t even imagine. Sheldon had no problem doing whatever he wanted because he had money and he knew he could vanish without a trace. Which is exactly what he did. He had contacts worldwide Even when he was clearly in plain sight as shown in the updated photo and information, he knew he was still untouchable. The explicit nature of those videos alone they would never, nor do i have any knowledge or it ever being done before, release something that like that. Juveniles that kill, or even just commit robbery are still protected by law, their names are usually withheld. Obviously LE did not have a video of that in their hands. Why would LE find a specific film reel of something so disturbing back then, when today they still can’t even figure out when rich people have hidden money in offshore bank accounts. Why wouldn’t rich people that are into child snuffing want to watch a video of it? They get to see what they like, and they don’t even have to be present to be caught or found as an accomplice in murder. Guilty by association. Have you heard of Peter Scully? The Australian pedophile who was arrested in 2018 in the phillipines for the sexual abuse and torture of many young girls, one as young as 18 months old, many of whom he filmed sexually abusing and physically torturing. He filmed these videos and web cam access to sell to rich clients. There was even the skeletal remains of a young girl found underneath his rented home, who he strangled to death. Based on the testimony of one of those young victims, I can only imagine that being rich afforded access to special or specific requests of videos, this including torture and probably death. Of course there are pedophile sex rings and sex trafficking that rich people pay to participate in. This is still going on rampant worldwide today. I don’t doubt that. Can they get it cheaper somewhere else? Sure. In poorer countries I saw a report that American tourists can sexually abuse children, doing anything they want, for less than $10. The traffickers don’t care because $10 american dollars is a fortune to them. But because it’s cheaper that’s apparently a concrete reason why rich people wouldn’t pay a more expensive price for access to child abuse/torture/killing material? If you’re rich you don’t care about price tags. And if it wasn’t profitable, why would so many people be sex trafficking in present day especially. Marc Dutroux is a convicted Belgian pedophile and rapist. He sexually and physically abused, trafficked, and murdered many young girls in Europe with many other accomplices. Any surviving victims stated there were many other young victims at sex parties, many more child murders, and even the fact that many high profile people, even in parliament were involved and partook in the sexual abuse, resulting in a massive cover up. Bottom line, people like this have no problem paying whatever they want, and have absolutely no problem killing children. But the families of these victims are still desperate for answers and the police had and have every right to follow up on that lead. any memories she might have recovered that way have to be considered suspect, at the least.
But the claim of not knowing/remembering, until she was in therapy as a young adult, that her father had “been involved in a pedophile pornography ring” is not credible. Gerald Richard’s confession of all that he had been involved in was so very, very public – not just the testimony to Illinois State Senate, but in news articles of that day…its inconceivable that any adult residents of Dexter, Mich. would have remained ignorant of the whole scandal, or would not have openly gossiped about it amongst themselves, inconceivable their school aged kids would not have absorbed at least “the gist” of it, and taunted Richard’s children about it from time to time throughout their childhood. But she thinks her father, the most notorious child pornographer in America right up to 1992, MIGHT have been involved…
She states that her own abuse memories begin when she was approx. 6 years old, in 1975 or 1976, and that she & sister driven to Ann Arbor to be photographed together, by Dad, twice a year for four years. But Richards was in prison for at least two of those years and Shelden had fled America even before that. She talks about her sister being pregnant with Gerald’s child, and a forced abortion she witnessed. There’s not a lot of time during which Gerald could have impregnated sister, considering he got released in late 1980’s (and lived with his mother, not the wife and children) and died – again in prison – in 1994. In any case, at least a decade after this daughter claims her abuse occurred mid 1970’s, aged 6…so she would have to be at least 16 when this forced abortion happened…but she had no memory about it until she went into therapy at age 18! Only two years before, and no memory of it without therapy.
It’s not surprising, there’s no record of Gerald being charged with anything related to daughter’s claims, before he passed in 1994.
I just watched Children of the Snow. I have to say I think that the four children murdered were also used for snuff films. If you look at how all four died especially the girls they died in different ways. In a way more of an aggressive manner. I know that video recorders were fairly new, but they most definitely could have afforded it. I also am curious if they videoed the dumping of the bodies. I don’t know. This is just a terrible crime. I constantly try to bring light to child abuse and trafficking. We need to work to stop this from happening.
I have a friend who was a missionary in an Africa, he and his wife. I will call him John. John has some of the same pics of the Catholic Church orphanages and priests. In villages women give birth to priests children. The village elders bury alive some of these children to protect the priests. The orphanages are FULL OF THESE PRIESTS CHILDREN, ones lucky enough to live! The Catholic Church is well aware of these orphanages! Many of the children have been raped and molested by these degenerate priests. Some to disappear and never seen or heard from again. There are stories just like this ALL OVER THE WORLD. The Catholic Church turns an eye to it! All you have to do is look at it’s history from it’s conception to present is EVIL!! No wonder you can’t see it’s archives!!!
