If you read this blog, you should watch the documentary Amber: The Girl Behind the Alert, now streaming on Peacock. It is a powerful film about the legacy of nine-year-old Amber Hagerman. Her kidnapping and murder in 1996 remains unsolved but Amber Alerts have saved at least 1,000 children.

Watched it the other night. Very good doc. Give so much credit to her mom especially since she’s in the “cold case” group. What her her family went thru is horrific as I’m sure you can understand. Amber would be proud and I’m sure is smiling with the good she is doing up there. RIP dear Amber.
