  1. This is all over Detroit news media. It seems Michigan State University is conducting another huge cover up.

  2. The Oakland County Dive Team and the MSP Marine Services Unit came up with nothing after searching for weeks. A diligent private investigator then got the job done. After he found Brendan, an initial five-paragraph media release from MSU’s Police and Public Safety Department omitted the civilian investigator’s role, as did a news conference by Inspector Chris Rozman.

  3. Lots of coverage here in Metro Detroit over the past 3 years and good to see it’s continuing and questions are being asked.

Awful lot of things that have since been conveniently left out of the story and reports, with the phone pinging a couple hours AFTER he was supposed to have gone in the water, and then I believe heard that he was found in DIFFERENT clothes than he was last seen in?

Yeah, somebody needs to reopen this and immediately. A thorough investigation and second look from an outside agency.

I’m not going to accuse MSU of anything nefarious, but with the constant PR issues over the past decade including this, Nassar, the football/basketball players rape allegations and potential cover up, the shooting…he’ll even Mel Tucker…it all makes you wonder if this is a school and police department that wants this story to go away immediately, no matter what. Because the school has had one public issue after another.

Parents, family and friends deserve answers. Sadly, Catherine, this is a story and situation that I’m sure hits too close to home.
