Hi Nina, yeah something’s afoot. When it’s only civilians looking into this case (podcasters, YouTubers, authors, bloggers, writers, survivors) in the face of the MSP stranglehold on the case, it’s hard to predict.

I vacillate on what to think about Busch. I went back to the original post with the drawing and info, and I even wonder if Busch (assuming he drew it), created the drawing strictly from the ‘missing’ drawing of Mark. (Or I tell myself that because the alternative of Mark being tormented is so awful). If you look at the jacket and the bangs, they are so very close to the ‘missing’ sketch. (Except the jacket is zipped up). The way Busch talked to law enforcement about where he would pick up kids and how it matched where Mark, Jill and Kristine, etc- it just seemed like he was begging to be accused or caught. If it is to be believed that the drawing was on his wall for a month before he died, he just seemed to be saying “F-U mom and dad”.
So was he guilty and wanted his parents to know it, or was he not guilty and wanted to torment his parents into thinking he did it? We know he was a disgusting molester, but was he a murderer? I have no idea. I do know that I was the same age in 1976-1977 and Chris Busch would have stuck out like a sore thumb and I don’t think I would have gone near him. But Gunnels was a different story. Nobody ever thought of a teenager as being a threat.
