Pedophile finally jailed after ‘living in paradise’ during 27 years on the run

This former scout leader and school housemaster avoided prosecution in the UK in 1995 by fleeing to Thailand on a fraudulent passport with a false name. Richard Burrows, 81, abused at least 24 boys in the UK between 1968 and 1995.

God only knows what this man did in Thailand after 1995.

British police eventually tracked him down using facial recognition technology. Extradition would have been a lengthy process but he made it easy for the police by voluntarily returning to the UK in order to get cancer treatment. British police stayed on this and pedophiles should know that if a committed law enforcement agency is doing the job, these criminals are never safe from arrest.
