Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel is working to keep child rapist Roederick Hunter, age 62, in prison.
Here’s the Michigan Court of Appeals rejection of Hunter’s appeal in 2007. Fuck this guy and his attorney. Look who they went after–the child victim who was raped by this monster for two years when she was ages 7-9. They wanted her school records to argue she was not displaying the signs of sexual abuse.
The filings in AG Nessel’s emergency appeal of the Michigan Parole Board’s decision to release this monster show that Hunter
- Lacks honesty regarding his underlying convictions.
- Blames the victim for the crimes committed against her.
- Refuses to express remorse for his actions or sympathy for the survivor.
This POS confessed to an unsolved 1991 rape case after a 2014 DNA test linked him to the crime. The statute of limitations at the time allowed him to skate. No way this sex criminal should ever be on the streets again.
“Good time” credits. Spend those “credits” with your own kind, like Ted Lamborgine and Larry Allen Smith.
Glad someone was paying attention when this rapist was making his “good time” credit arguments. Glad the AG is calling out the Parole Board’s abuse of discretion.
