A large wave of litigation is headed for Catholic dioceses in Orange County and Los Angeles as trials are being scheduled after some 2000 childhood sexual assault cases were filed against the church during a three-year statutory window allowing now-adult survivors to file lawsuits related to decades-old abuse.
