Unless it involves the kidnapping, captivity, torture, sexual assault, rape and murder of children during the watch of L. Brooks Patterson and Richard Thompson in 1976 and 1977.
Fuck you and fuck this worthless POS rapist.

Cathy, as always, my heart breaks for you. Can we organize something? What about collecting signatures on a petition? Additionally, Have you seen the work by “Roscoe Clark” on Jonbenet? According to his forensic evidence, the case has been solved but Boulder PD won’t release the evidence?!! Something about a drug party in the neighborhood that was police protected. Some type of affiliation with Mexican cartel. A police protected party with drug cartel.
I have never seen the work by Roscoe Clark. I don’t know what is up with the Boulder PD. You would think that they would take one of the private labs up on their offer to rerun the evidence using the most sophisticated technology. I bet they would do it for free or at a minimal cost, given the nature of the case. A petition was filed with the Governor of Colorado, who at least addressed the issue on the record. I don’t think he moved the Boulder PD one inch or that he truly understood that their state lab wasn’t good enough to get this job done. There are chain of custody issues, but they have been addressed before in cases around the country. Boulder PD and one of the prosecuting attorneys seemed very locked in to their theory that someone in the immediate household killed JonBenet and then faked the crime scene. They called in supporting criminal profilers (when do those people ever admit an error?) and the OG celebrity coroners to support this theory. Wealthy neighborhood, close to sororities, fraternities and a beautiful college campus–pointing fingers at the family satisfied the City’s need to quell panic. There are many sad parallels to the OCCK case. I don’t think a petition would move any government official or agency in Michigan. When law enforcement won’t do the right thing, they rarely have to answer to anyone in cold cases. Once the years pass, they are kind of “home free.”
