In the whole. Fucking. World.
Yep.
That’s what’s incredible. Ranked 13th in the world over at least 5 decades. The people at Buzzfeed recognize the significance but local/state LE act like nothing ever happened. It just makes me so sick.
Their roadblocks will be exposed even if the answers they sought to hide remain that way due to cowardice and corruption. The vast amount of shit they have tried to hide from the residents of Oakland County and all of Michigan will fester until those, living and dead, are revealed. We keep after it; we keep telling the story. When Tim’s siblings are gone, someone will pick up the story. What was allowed to occur here must never happen again. Everyone who reads this blog, sees the FOIA documents for themselves, reads The Snow Killings, reads The Kill Jar, reads Portraits in the Snow, watches Children of the Snow–you know. You can do nothing but you can’t not know. For subsequent generations of cops and law enforcement to continue this depravity defines your agencies and your constituents.
Maybe it’s ranked so low in the charts because the serial killer(s) shouldn’t get as much credit as they received so much assistance from the cover up team that helped them around things in every corner. Anything from chasing Blue Gremlins to contradictory news releases and police reports that go along with it. And of course the very hiding things behind a Busch murder scene to polygraph test results done years later that strongly relates that all of a sudden comes up missing with in their records with no explanation. Let’s not forget about the complete hassle, discouraging and completely ignoring key witnesses along the way. (Polly & Doug Wilson to name just a couple) And of course all the misplaced and missing evidence in the labs that’s been wrapped around it all. Even the original pencil sketch that closely resembles the first OCCK victim left at a very suspicious murder scene comes up missing. Perhaps there should be a list of the most cover up crimes and screwed up investigations ever held in history. This should easily ranked #1.
Yes, Inquisitor. #1 on the Dirtiest Serial Killer Investigation Ever list. Also #1 on the Gaslighting by Law Enforcement in an Unsolved Serial Killer Case list.
Yes #1 would be about right. But if not #1, I am fine with #13. I choose not to complain. Thirteen is an unlucky number.
Unlucky for those who chose to cover this up. Even those who chose to stay silent are now part of the cover-up. You chose wrong over right. It will follow you from now until eternity. Good luck with that. Some people will do the right thing, but not all. Easy for me to say. I did not lose anybody close to me. However, after this long, I feel I did. I side with the families involved.
You do not realize the resolve of some of the people here. I saw the the look in their eyes of those who promised others “to find the truth”. Some are now in their 47th year of being involved. It is not going away. I commend all of the readers who were close to the families that are still involved. I know you will always be there. I commend others who will stay involved. You know who you are.
I look forward to others to re-engage in the discussion.
