  1. Cathy, I have thought about you often over the past 30 years. I didn’t live your pain. But I saw how it affected you. You probably don’t remember me but we worked together at Farells. I still remember the day when I walked into the back room and you crying, and was given the reality of what your family had just found out. I was a year younger, and you seemed very sophisticated, classy, compared to many of us who worked there. And even though I was 16 at the time I still had nightmares.

I know you said you live in Chicago area — as do I — having moved to Naperville from Farmington. I will follow this blog and post it to my FB page as I still have many friends back in Michigan. I hope you, your brother and especially your father get some straight answers. Seriously. Who are they trying to protect at this point?

    Take care. Marshall Bice.

    • Marshall, thank you so much for your kind words. We both live in Naperville–I moved here from Idaho in 2005, after living in Idaho for 21 years. I will email you. Thanks again–I so appreciate your post. We may even cross paths every day and not know it!

  2. From page 4: “Burnstein doesn’t mince words when discussing the importance of the Oakland County Child Killer, ‘which, in my opinion, is the most important unsolved crime in Michigan, more so than the Jimmy Hoffa disappearance,’ Burnstein said.”
